About Cedar Mechanical
For years, Calgary’s leading businesses have trusted Cedar Mechanical to keep their operations running smoothly. Now, we bring that same reliability directly to your home.
Whether you need an urgent repair or long-term preventive maintenance, you can count on our decades of combined hands-on experience to get the job done right the first time.
Mechanical Excellence Since 2016
Founded in 2016 as a dedicated commercial mechanical contractor, Cedar Mechanical spent years designing, installing, and servicing complex plumbing, heating, gas, and mechanical systems for national restaurant chains, major retail brands, and financial institutions throughout Calgary.
While managing these large-scale projects, we noticed a frustrating pattern in local residential service: homeowners were routinely subjected to high-pressure sales tactics, hidden fees, and corporate franchise pricing designed to maximize commissions rather than deliver quality work.
We founded our residential division to offer a better alternative. Today, as a family-run business, we give homeowners and property managers direct access to seasoned tradespeople who provide clear answers, upfront quotes across your kitchen table, and total respect for your home and budget.
The Cedar Mechanical Promise
- No Surprise Bills
The quote following our diagnostic inspection is the amount you pay on your final invoice. We never charge surprise dispatch fees or force mid-job upsells, giving you complete clarity before we begin the work.
- A Repair-First Philosophy
We always aim to repair existing equipment whenever safe and feasible, recommending replacement only when genuinely necessary. If a simple part replacement restores full functionality, that is all we will ever suggest.
- Family-Owned and Personally Accountable
Because we are an independent local business rather than a corporate franchise, you get real accountability, direct communication with knowledgeable local professionals, and a team that takes personal pride in every job.
